About the Role
The primary role of a TAFE SA Carpentry Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.
TAFE SA is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have substantial industry experience.
Minimum entry requirements:
- Hold a Certificate in TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Relevant industry qualifications to Carpentry
- Proven ability to aid in the development of learning resources used in the delivery of training package competencies
- Sound knowledge of contemporary and current industry procedures and trends and practical application of trade work

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
- Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
- A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
