The Role
The logistics governance officer is accountable for working under limited direction and achieving logistics governance work within the workforce. You will be required to understand and follow any relevant legislative frameworks and Defence policy. You will work with established procedures while managing your workflow.
These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with the management of governance in accordance with the Electronic Supply Chain Manual and Logistics Compliance and Assurance Manual.
- Coordinate logistics inventory management utilising information management systems and responding to inventory requests.
- Compose responses to correspondence, briefs and reporting on logistics inventory management.
- Demonstrate knowledge to provide expert advice on logistics inventory management to the team leader and other stakeholders.
About our Team
The Collins Submarine Program within the Naval Shipbuilding & Sustainment Group (NSSG) is responsible for the maintenance and programmed upgrade of Australia’s Collins Class submarines. The Program works in partnership with the Royal Australian Navy and Industry to deliver the strategic submarine capability to the nation.
