About the Role
On a 12 month contract, based in Brisbane, as a Site Supervisor you will be responsible for the set up of insurance related repairs, managing trades and progress of works, building strong effective internal client relationships whilst taking care of our customer!
Key Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Deliver construction projects from commencement to completion
- Determine construction methodologies from detailed scope of works
- Engage, coordinate & manage trades during the repair process for buildings damaged by insurable events
- Work closely with the repair co-ordination team
- Communicate & negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobs
- Oversee the delivery of works for an extensive client base
- Provide regular updates to a diverse range of stakeholders
- Ensure a high level of service is provided at all times
- Liaise between insured parties & insurance companies
- Dispute / issue resolution as required
- Ensure all inspection, certificate of final inspection & other relevant documentation is signed off
- Ensure all work conforms to legislative & contractual WHS requirements
- Travel may be required to work with the after hours and CAT team in the case of influx of claim volume
- Processing of reports and information through software based platforms
Key Selection Criteria:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service
- Be familiar with WHS practices, legislation and regulations
- Strong work ethic and highly motivated
- Willingness to work with the team and constantly improve performance
- A positive "can do" work ethic and willingness to work flexible hours and change routine from time to time
- Computer literate with knowledge in the use of Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Insurance related assessing/supervision experience highly advantageous
