About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced tyre fitter / wheel aligner to join our team in Albany. As a tyre fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers by providing expert tyre fitting and service.

Full time 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri and usually alternating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely fit, balance, repair and rotate tyres on a variety of vehicles
• Conduct thorough tyre inspections to identify and address potential issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety procedures
• Carry out wheel alignments on a large variety of vehicles (if applicable)

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a tyre fitter in a fast-paced environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of tyre fitting techniques and equipment
• Excellent communication skills
• Heavy fitting (truck, ag, forestry, earthmover) experience highly valued
• Wheel alignment experience is valued
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• A valid driver's license is required
