About the company/role:

• Our client is a Global Beverage manufacturing organization with a strong presence in the Australian and Global markets.
• They are seeking a Brewery Operator to work day-shift until mid-August.
• This company is located in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.

This role will involve a 12-hour day shift working 6am - 6pm on a 7-day fortnight.

$33.00/hr base rate

Duties:
The main function of this role is the production of beer from raw material staging and additions to completion of filling beer tanks ready for packaging. Your duties may include but are not limited to:

• Working on the filling line
• Involved in cleaning, changeovers, stoppages and 5S duties
• Ensuring all filling machinery is running smoothly and that line start up and end of run tasks are complete
• Performing adjustments and changes to production equipment as required
• Maintaining batch documentation
• Following regulations and SOP's to GMP standards
• Maintaining safety

About you:

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator in the Food or Beverage Industry
• Current forklift license is essential
• Experience with operating PLC controlled machines is highly regarded
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot on machines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Great communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team
• HACCP knowledge
