About the role

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Martin Burns Bedroom Furnishings' in Bunbury, WA. This part-time position is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment and contribute to the success of our growing furniture store.

What you'll be doing

• Providing exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and visually appealing store environment
• Restocking and replenishing merchandise as needed
• Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Collaborating with the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the furniture or home furnishings industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide excellent service
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive, customer-focused work environment
• Th role will initially be 9am-5pm Thursday, Saturday 9am-4pm and every second Sunday 11am-3pm.
• Sales experience is essential, but computer literacy is NOT required.
