Our client’s company is growing, and we’re looking for an Operations Manager with scaffolding industry experience to keep everything running smoothly. This newly created role is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership position, reporting directly to the Managing Director. You’ll be responsible for managing a team of 15–20 direct reports, ensuring projects are delivered on time, safely, and to a high standard.

If you have a strong understanding of scaffolding operations, enjoy problem-solving, and can keep projects and teams on track, this is the role for you!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing a team of 15–20 – ensuring productivity and efficiency
  • Overseeing daily operations – coordinating people, schedules, and materials. Start onsite - finish up in the office
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations – keeping the workplace safe and efficient
  • Managing priorities and deadlines to keep projects on track
  • Handling admin, scheduling & reports – computer literacy is essential
  • Communicating with clients & teams – strong verbal and written skills required
  • Problem-solving on-site to keep things moving

What We’re Looking For

  • Scaffolding industry experience is a must – you understand the challenges and requirements of the trade
  • Strong organisation & time management skills – able to juggle multiple tasks
  • Ability to manage a team effectively – leadership experience preferred but not essential!
  • Excellent communication skills – written & verbal
  • Computer literate – comfortable handling reports, scheduling & admin tasks
  • Great people skills – able to motivate and manage different personalities
