Job Title: Intermediate/Advanced Rigger & Crane Operators

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely rig and move loads of various sizes and weights using appropriate rigging techniques and equipment.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and inspections of rigging gear and equipment.
• Collaborate with crane operators and other team members to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
• Interpret and follow lifting plans, load charts, and other relevant documentation.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, procedures, and standards set by BlueScope Steel and industry guidelines.
• Maintain rigging equipment in good working condition and report any defects or issues.
• Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as required.
  
  Qualifications and Experience:
• Valid Intermediate/Advanced Rigging or CO certification.
• Proven experience as a rigger/Operator, preferably in a Mining or heavy manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret load charts, lifting plans, and other technical documents.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Physically fit and able to work in various environmental conditions.
• Ability to pass random D & A testing

  Pay: $42.00 – $55.00 per hour depending on experience
  
  Schedule:
• 8 - 12 hour shifts
• Monday to Sunday
• Rostered Days off

• Rigging: 2 years (Required)
• Operator: 2 Years (Required)
  
  Licence/Certification:
• HRWL, EWP ticket, White Card, WAH Card, Forklift, HR Licence
