West North West Working is focused on the people of our region and the possibilities of our future.

Working in communities across the North West and West Coasts and King Island, our Regional Business and Industry Officer will take the time to understand the stories, needs, barriers and aspirations of individuals and employers to help navigate, interpret and connect to the opportunities of our region. They will have strong existing networks and demonstrate a commitment to developing creative and collaborative responses to workforce needs.

These responses will aim to improve accessibility of opportunity for residents while building capacity of business and industry to identify demand, workforce needs and understanding of available potential workers. The Regional Business and Industry Officer will also maintain knowledge of business and training support systems to connect local employers to other services to minimise duplication.
