Applications are open for Registered Midwives to join the Midwifery Group Practice
The Armadale Health Service Midwifery Group Practice allows you to provide continuity of midwifery care within a caseload midwifery led model throughout the continuum of a woman’s pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period. Working within this model you will provide antenatal and postnatal care and support in the hospital and home environment, and labour and birth support in the hospital setting.
We are looking for Registered Midwives who are passionate about making a difference to the lives of the people in our community. About the Job & How to Apply

This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time appointments. Fixed Term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
This recruitment pool will be open for 5 months, and the following should be noted:
- The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications throughout this timeframe and will assess on a regular basis.
- Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool and appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur within any EMHS facility.
- Appointments may be made from this pool until 16/03/2026.
- The first referee needs to be your current or a recent line manager, this referee must be a Senior Registered Midwife Level 3 or a Senior Registered Midwife Level 2.
- The second referee needs to be able to comment on your clinical skills and be a minimum level 2, such as a: Senior Registered Midwife or Registered Midwife.
- Please inform your referees that they may be contacted when you submit your application.

Eligibility and Equality
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
Applicants must hold Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency
(AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife. Please refer to the AHPRA website for registration information.
