• The Super Start Program is a structured 12-month program that embraces a collaborative and supportive team environment, specifically tailored for recent new graduates and early career professionals embarking on their journey with Super Rehab.

What is the caseload?

• Our Occupational Therapists work with older adults at their homes to conduct comprehensive home safety assessments, providing recommendations for equipment, home modifications, and reviewing pressure care needs. We also offer expert guidance on manual handling practices and deliver comprehensive falls prevention education. Caseload starts at 4-6 visits per week, and gradually builds to 2 visits per work day, with plenty of time to complete your reports.
  
• Our OT also provide exceptional OT services to adult participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), assisting NDIS participants with their Assistive Technology (AT) and home modifications needs, completing SIL and SDA assessments and reporting, providing ongoing capacity building supports and conducting thorough functional capacity assessments to determine the level of support and services needed.

What is a typical day like?

• Kickstart your day by reviewing your schedule and gathering everything you need for home visits, therapy sessions, and assessments.
• Take to the road, visiting client’s home with a smile on your face. You'll assess their needs, provide recommendations for equipment and modifications, and ensure their living environment is safe and supportive.
• It’s time for therapy sessions! Brighten up the client’s home with your positive vibe as you engage the client in fun and interactive activities, whether it's working on fine motor skills, ADLs or community participation.
• Take a quick break to attend to documentation, ensuring that accurate and informative notes reflect the recommendations you have made and the progress your clients are making.
• Connect and collaborate with your amazing team members of Super Rehab team. Sharing ideas, goals, and successes brings laughter and a sense of camaraderie to the day!
• Take part in professional development opportunities, staying ahead of the curve, and celebrating your achievements.

What are we expecting from you?

• Recent OT graduates are welcome to apply! Our Super Start Program has got you covered!
• AHPRA Registration or waiting for registration outcome
• NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) or willing to apply for one
• Professional indemnity and liability insurance
• Current Drivers License
• Willing to make a positive impact on people's lives!
