About the role

CQ Pallets' is seeking a skilled and reliable Pallet Repairer/Maker to join our team in Kawana, QLD. As a casual position, this role offers flexible work options to fit your lifestyle. You will be responsible for repairing and manufacturing pallets to the highest standards, contributing to the efficient operations of our manufacturing and logistics business.

What you'll be doing

• Inspect and assess the condition of used pallets
• Repair damaged pallets by replacing or reinforcing components
• Construct new pallets from raw materials according to specifications
• Ensure all pallets meet quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Collaborate with the production team to meet delivery deadlines

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a pallet repair or manufacturing role
• Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools
• Physically fit and able to lift and manoeuvre heavy materials
• Comfortable working in a repetitive labour intensive environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Have good communication and be able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
• Display a good level of industriousness and be confident working within a team
• Ability to wear required PPE (steel cap boots, high-vis, face shields, ear protection and safety glasses)
• Forklift license and experience will be and advantage but not a necessity
