We are looking for a Support Worker to assist our client with community access, domestic duties around the home and offering companionship. Our client typically enjoys going out and about on drives, swimming at the beach, walking, shopping and accessing various community venues. This role will suit someone who enjoys supporting people with mental health challenges to get out and about having fun!

Mental health experience would be advantageous.

Our rosters are published 4 weeks in advance, and we value committed and loyal staff.

Weekly Rostered shifts are 9-5pm.

Essential Skill Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience (min 6+ months), knowledge and understanding of people living with disabilities & mental health
• Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Experience providing respectful supports within a person's home

Highly Desirable:

• Mental Health First Aid

Plus Mandatory:

• Accredited Certificate in Mental Health/Disability/Community services
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Current CPR & First Aid
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Reliable Car with Full Comprehensive Car Insurance
• Manual Handling Training
• Infection Control Training
• Food Handling Basics Training
