We are a Property & Building Management Company, we manage property letting & buildings from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast & Noosa.
Our building in Sunshine Coast is currently seeking a motivated and hands on Resort Manager to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day Front Office operations, liaising with contractors & residents, and ensuring the delivery of excellent service standards.
Role Includes;
- 5-day week which include some weekend work (Saturday 8am-1pm mandatory) and some Sundays (8am -1pm) if needed based on Monthly Roster
- After hours as required (emergencies and lockouts only)
- Bonus / Incentive each quarter if agreed financial targets are met.
About the Role
As the Resort Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences, maintaining strong relationships with unit owners and the body corporate, managing staff, suppliers, trust accounts, reporting, licensing, and building compliance.
You’ll be supported by Sunshine Coast Realty Services head office team, who handle marketing and financial accounts reservations—allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional on-site management and guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in resort or short-term holiday letting
- Must be proficient in property management software Resly (primarily) and / or RMS booking system (desirable)
- Exceptional customer service attitude
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook at Immediate/Senior level
- Demonstrated time management & organisation skills
- Experience leading a small team of staff & contractors
Core Duties
In the role you will be required to supervise;
- The role will require some FOH / Reception duties as required
- Manage Short term holiday letting marketing and advertising
- Manage Short term holiday guest enquiries, bookings, and reservations
- Liaise with Owners, Guest and Tenants
- Problem solving Owners & Guest enquires as required
- Housekeeping – oversee and co-ordinate the daily apartment cleaning schedules to be performed by contractors and ensure they perform to our required cleaning standards
- Preforming End of Month short term property management accounting processes
- Management of common areas and services
Preferable Experience
- Building Management duties of medium size complex including Building Maintenance and Repairs as directed
- Liaising with 3rd party contractors and trades to perform building services
- Liaising with Body Corporate Committee (and attending monthly Body Corporate meetings)
Days / Hours as Required
Monday – Friday with rostered weekend work twice a month. Hours as required to fulfill the tasks at hand
Further to this experience, to be successful in this role, you will be available to work varied shifts from mornings to afternoons, including weekends and public holidays, as per our business demands.
