The opportunity:
The Air Zone Senior Officer is responsible for providing a safe and enjoyable experience for customers using the Mt Buller Air Zone facility through hands on interaction with customers, leadership and supervision of the Air Zone Attendants.
As an Air Zone Senior Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a safe and enjoyable time at our fun indoor facility, which features trampolines, airbags, and rock-climbing walls. From setting up the facility to packing it down and providing seamless transport services, your responsibilities will keep you engaged and active.

Key accountabilities:
- Coordinate and organise daily workflows to ensure efficient Air Zone operations.
- Apply professional judgment to interpret and implement rules, ensuring decisions align with established guidelines.
- Resolve operational service delivery issues within set procedures to maintain smooth daily operations.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.
- Serve as a key point of reference for operational processes and procedures within the team
Skills, experience and qualifications:
- First Aid Certificate
- Minimum 2 years experience and knowledge and understanding of the principles of customer service.
- Demonstrated understanding of facility operation of a similar type of facility.
- Proven staff leadership skills, rostering staff, and assisting with performance reviews of staff
- Demonstrated ability to manage varied and conflicting demands.
- Experience in managing an environment that carries risk
- Explains rules, procedures and operational policies to individual clients or colleagues.
- Proficient in use of software or technical equipment.
- Liaises with stakeholders, clients and external providers
- Certificate or Degree in business, tourism, events or marketing or related discipline or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience - Desirable

Salary: $41.79 p/h including casual loading

The successful candidate will be required to:
- Have full Australian working rights.
- Hold a current Australian driver’s licence
- Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Employee Working With Children Check
- Available to work weekends and school holidays
- Available from June to 30 September 2025 (or the declared snow season)
