About the role

Pearl Catering is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at our prestigious venue in Vaucluse. As a full-time role, you will play a key part in supporting the Venue Manager in overseeing all day-to-day restaurant operations and providing exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the Venue Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and budgeting
  • Ensuring a high standard of customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests
  • Rostering and supervising the restaurant team, providing training and development opportunities
  • Handling customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Participating in the development and implementation of promotional activities and events
  • Monitoring and reporting on restaurant performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
