About the role

This flexible part-time People and Culture Advisor role is an excellent opportunity to join the team at The Happy Apple Greengrocer' in Ascot Vale. As a key member of the Team and the HR and People function, you will provide expert advisory and operational support to the business, with a focus on employee experience, organisational development and culture initiatives.

What you'll be doing

• Partner with business leaders to identify and implement people-focused strategies that drive employee engagement, performance and organisational capability
• Manage the full employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, and offboarding
• Design and deliver HR policies, programs and initiatives that support the organisation's values and objectives
• Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of people-related matters
• Promote a positive, inclusive and high-performing work culture
• Conduct HR analytics and reporting to measure the effectiveness of HR activities
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement in people management processes

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
• 3-5 years' generalist HR experience, ideally within a small-to-medium sized organisation
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficient in HR systems and data analytics
• Knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practices and organisational development principles
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work autonomously
