Highgate Pharmacy is seeking an experienced dispensary technician to pack medication sachets on a JVM packing machine. There are some Webster Packs for Community Clients that you may be required to pack, along with some general dispensary technician duties.

We are open 7 days until 7pm during the week and 5pm on weekends, however your usual hours would be 11am to 7pm from Tuesday to Friday.

The position would suit an experienced dispensary technician with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience packing medication administration aids is advantageous, however we are prepared to train a suitable candidate with dispensary experience.

The applicant must be able to work as part of a team.

The successful applicant must have a very high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

The hourly rate to be negotiated and will depend on experience.

Highgate Pharmacy has a very strong focus on customer service, for both our community customers and our many aged care residents, so the ability to lend a hand in the shop front will be a huge advantage.

We also have a Newsagency, NDSS, Metrocards, SA Lotteries, great cards and a good selection of gifts.

Applicants must have the following skills and experience:

-must provide excellent customer service

-must have a current South Australian driver’s licence

-must have recent pharmacy dispensary experience in Australia

-must have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with customers, doctors and staff at ACFs

-must have the right to live and work in Australia

-experience with FRED Dispense is an advantage but training will be provided

-must have a current Certificate IV in Community Pharmacy, or equivalent.

-must be willing to have annual Flu Vaccination
