We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Junior/Graduate Civil Construction Engineer. This exciting full-time role is based in Murray Bridge, SA, with immediate start available.

About the role

The Graduate Project Engineer assists in project delivery under the guidance of our experienced project engineering personnel.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Read drawings and specifications
• Write Inspection Test Plans based on project technical specifications
• Take-off materials during tendering stage
• Procurement and material checks
• Assist Estimating Team during tendering stage
• Assist Project Management Team during projects
• Update programme and lease with clients (MS project skills desirable)
• Keep track and organise QA documentation
• Ensure all work is completed in line with the company's quality management system
• Communicate with client and all stakeholders, ensuring works are delivered to their satisfaction
• Management of sub-contractors
• Undertake frequent site inspections and audits to assess compliance to HSEQ policies
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience with civil, bulk earthwork, water infrastructure and/or road construction projects (Desirable understanding of SA Water and DIT specs)
• A commitment to quality, safety, and environmental measures
• Ability to communicate and liaise with employees, clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors
• Strong problem-solving skills
• A methodical approach to work, with meticulous documentation and organisational skills; and
• A hands-on approach
