Maintenance Fitter - FMCG Experience (Day and Night Shift)

Our client is looking for dedicated Maintenance Fitters to join their dynamic team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance on machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimising downtime
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns
• Conduct inspections and adjustments of machines and equipment to maintain functionality.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
• Work collaboratively with the team to improve processes and reduce production stoppages.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a manufacturing FMCG environment
• Australian Trade Qualification
• Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and can do attitude
• Availability to work 12-hour shifts (both day and night shift options available)
• Flexibility to work across rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime if required
