Vehicle Detailer & Yard Hand – Full-Time or Casual Positions Available

📍 Location: Mount Isa Branch - Across from the Mount Isa Airport
💰 Pay Rate: $35 - $39 per hour (depending on skills, experience & relevant tickets)
⏰ Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM start – flexibility available
🚗 Must have: A current unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence

1300 Meteor Rentals is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as Vehicle Detailer /Yard Hand. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this could be the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Cleaning and detailing vehicles to company presentation standards
Preparing vehicles for hire (and disposal if applicable)
Checking vehicles and trailers going in and out
Refueling and underbody checks
Hooking up and unhitching trailers
General cleaning of the workshop, yard, and premises
Transporting vehicles, parts, and customers as required
Fitting and removing stickers, accessories, and general upkeep of vehicles
Completing vehicle paperwork and inspections

What We’re Looking For:

✔️ A keen eye for detail and ability to follow processes
✔️ Someone who enjoys a mix of independent and team-based work
✔️ A current unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence (essential)
✔️ Forklift licence (handy but not required)
