An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join our team at Zamsky Yao Chartered Accountants (ZYCA). We are a boutique accounting practice growing rapidly through a combination of acquisition and organic growth. Our well-established firm is based in Caulfield which offers full range of professional accounting services and has a high-quality client portfolio of SMEs.

You will be working full time in a very supportive environment. This role offers:

• Preparation of BAS, financial statements, tax returns and other special projects for all types of clients in various industries
• Supervising, mentoring and training junior team members
• Working closely and directly with partners to gain valuable experiences and knowledges
• Developing your ability to become a manager with the opportunity to build a team around you and be one of the future leaders of our firm

To be successful in the role you will have the following attributes:

• CA or CPA Qualification with Accounting/Commerce Degree
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in public practice with a deep understanding of the Australian taxation system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks etc., experience with MYOB AO/AE will be favourable)
• High energy and enthusiasm with keen eye to detail
