Protech are currently seeking Apprentice Electricians for the Culcarin Solar Farm Project. The role is suited to those completing 3rd or 4th year who have an interest in the solar and renewable energy sector.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Electrical and solar installation work on one of Australia’s largest Solar project currently at construction with one of the world’s largest civil, construction and infrastructure firms
• Hours required are Monday to Friday 7am - 4:45pm (overtime after 7.6 hours) and Saturday 7am - 1pm
• 5 Months Work on current Project with potential to transition to another large solar project in Northern Victoria at the completion of Culcairn
• Work includes cable pulling, inverter install, terminations and testing
• Pay rates: $35 per hour base rate for 3rd year apprentices, $40 per hour for 4th year apprentices + guaranteed OT

REQUIREMENTS

• 3rd and 4th year apprentice who has already started an apprenticeship
• Own tools
• Reliability and willingness to learn
