Red Arrow Australia is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our growing team in our new, vibrant and modern office based just outside the CBD, within close walking distance to multiple bus routes and train lines. The Role:

• Processing end-to-end payroll for all businesses within the group:
• Recruitment and labour hire – weekly
• Design, engineering and architecture – fortnightly
• Construction/project management – fortnightly
• Management of payroll queries
• Month end reconciliation of payroll accounts
• Working closely with the recruitment/labour hire team, HR and finance function

The role provides flexibility on hours outside of the key designated payroll days (Monday and Tuesday). Due to tight deadlines these days require the full attention of the Payroll Manager.

About you:

• Experience in the labour hire/recruitment, mining, construction, or a related industry
• Knowledge of payroll, employment and statutory obligations (i.e. superannuation)
• Prior experience with Xero’s payroll system
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Motivation to drive continuous improvement
• Experience with managing worker’s compensation claims (desired but not essential)
