A growing construction company, handling both commercial and residential projects based in Brisbane.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting, newly created position where you'll have the opportunity to make it your own. You'll play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the office and team, with a focus on streamlining HR processes, providing IT support, and contributing to the development of key systems and processes across the business.
DUTIES
- Office Management & HR Support
Provide essential support for the day-to-day operations of the office, including organising team-building events, managing staff inductions, and overseeing onboarding processes. - IT Support
Offer support for day-to-day IT enquiries, helping troubleshoot and manage tech issues for the team. - Document Creation
Use tools such as InDesign and Canva to create internal documents, newsletters, and other ad-hoc projects to improve communication and branding. - Compliance & Systems Support
Assist the Systems and Processes Manager in ensuring that the company meets all compliance requirements and maintains organised systems for processes. - PA Support to the Director
- Ad-hoc Accounting Support
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in office management, HR support, or a similar administrative role - Ideally within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in IT, including managing and troubleshooting basic tech issues.
- Familiar in creating documents and graphics, ideally using InDesign and Canva.
- Detail-oriented with an ability to manage basic compliance requirements and business processes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience in supporting senior executives or Directors is a must.
- Basic knowledge of finance/accounts is an advantage.
- Unlimited working rights in Australia
