About the role

Certainty Property is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our growing team in Docklands, Victoria. This full-time position is responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties working with an assistant property manager and leasing consultant to ensure optimal tenant and landlord satisfaction. As a key member of our property management division, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Effectively managing a portfolio of residential rental properties leading
• Provide training and expert advice to develop your team
• Work closely with landlords to provide pro-active service
• Advertising vacant properties, screening and vetting prospective tenant
• Negotiating and preparing lease agreements, renewals and terminations
• Handling owner inquiries, maintenance requests and resolving any issues promptly
• Managing arrears and preparing VCAT submissions
• Maintaining detailed property records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
• Providing exceptional customer service to both tenants and landlords

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience in residential property management
• Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and other relevant legislation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with tenants and landlords
• Proven track record in managing a portfolio of properties and meeting key performance indicators
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
• Proficient in using property management software and relevant real estate technology (Property ME or Property Tree)
• Relevant real estate qualifications (e.g. Certificate IV in Property Services) are required.
