About the role:

Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Duration: 6 Months + likely extension
Location: Brisbane CBD

The primary purpose of this role is to undertake and lead business analysis to deliver Information Communications and Technology (ICT) solutions for business problems in a dynamic, evolving environment. The objective is to ensure effective understanding, communication and translation of requirements between the business and ICT partners.

• Experience with Procurement section
• Experience with SAP
• Experience with business transformation projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Highly developed interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, consult, coordinate and deliver substantial business analysis and solution conceptualisation in a large, diverse and complex organisation.
• Superior written communication skills with demonstrated ability to author comprehensive, clear, concise, and contractually robust documents for both business and technical audiences.
• Expert analytical and diagnostic skills, together with the ability to apply that knowledge and experience to the areas of process analysis, cost benefits analysis and business systems analysis, in order to identify opportunities for improved services and creative solutions.
• Extensive experience in the evaluation and assessment of tender and contract documentation, including evaluation of vendor responses.
• Demonstrated high level ability to establish and grow collaborative relationships building trust and providing reliability, with staff from varying technical disciplines, and with customers, suppliers, project managers and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated extensive experience in preparing high quality business analysis artefacts such as business requirements, functional requirements, process maps and models, business rules, business cases, options papers and test scenarios.
• Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and established business processes.
• Ability to understand the business climate and how and where systems and applications impede enhance business agility all within the context of the enterprise business architecture and technical architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams of Business Analysts on projects.
• Ability to contribute to team direction, give and receive feedback and achieve agreed performance standards in order to contribute to a culture of performance excellence.
