The Role

As the Clinical Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing clinical operations and ensuring high standards of care for residents in a 100 + bed aged care residence. You will lead a team of nurses and care staff, providing clinical guidance, mentorship, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the clinical and health care needs of residents
  • Supervise and support RNs, AINs, and new graduate nurses.
  • Coordinate clinical documentation, assessments, care planning, and medication management.
  • Work closely with the Quality and Education teams to ensure high standards of care and continuous staff development.
  • Maintain strong communication with residents, families, allied health professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct and document case conferences, multidisciplinary team meetings, and incident reports.

What We’re Looking For Essential:

  • Registered Nurse (AHPRA registered) with at least 2 years of experience in aged care.
  • Strong clinical assessment, care planning, and medication management skills.
  • Experience in staff training, competency assessments, and leadership.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
