Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Quarry / Recycling yard Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of quarry machinery, ensuring the extraction and processing of raw materials meet production targets while adhering to environmental and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain heavy machinery, including excavators, loaders, crushers, and other quarry equipment.

Load and transport materials such as sand, gravel, and crushed rock to specified locations.

Monitor and manage the operation of the quarry, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.

Collaborate with team members and management to meet production targets.

Maintain accurate records of operations, materials, and equipment usage.

Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly to management.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Quarry Operator or in a similar heavy machinery operation role.

Strong knowledge of quarry operations, machinery, and safety practices.

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle heavy machinery.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Valid driver's license and relevant machinery RII's

First aid certification (preferred).

Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends or holidays.
