We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join a well-established company that is at the forefront of innovation in mobility, pressure care, and assistive technology. This role is perfect for someone who understands NDIS, aged care, and hospital sectors and is motivated to work closely with therapists, equipment providers, and allied health professionals to deliver tailored solutions.
ROLE
As a Product Specialist, you will play a critical role in our mission to empower individuals with complex disabilities and enhance the delivery of seating and mobility equipment. You will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments, prescribing appropriate equipment, and building and maintaining relationships with allied health professionals to achieve good clinical and functional outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of individuals with complex disabilities to determine their mobility and assistive technology needs. Provide expert advice, recommendation, education and support to clinicians, clients and their families
- Prescribe and fit complex disability mobility and assistive technology equipment that aligns with clinical and functional requirements. Provide product trials and training where necessary.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the hospital, aged care, and community sectors to expand our customer base and market presence.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with our products and services.
- Stay current on the latest advancements in complex disability mobility and assistive technology equipment, providing expertise and guidance to healthcare professionals and clients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of clinical assessments, equipment prescriptions, and client interactions in line with the proper compliance and requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven sales experience within complex rehab, assistive technology, mobility, or pressure care.
- Strong understanding of NDIS, hospital, and aged care funding models.
- Ability to work independently, build trust with stakeholders, and drive business growth.
- Current Valid Australian Driver’s License required.
- Current National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
