DOCTO Telehealth, established in 2014, provides high-quality Telehealth consultations to our corporate partners and the general public.

We seek RMOs (PGY-3 and above) & registrars to join our growing team of doctors and provide video consultations with referred patients. Training, technology, and clinical and administrative support are all provided.

You are fully supported at all times by a consultant in emergency medicine.

Video consultations are by appointment in 20-minute blocks via DOCTO’s technology platform. The patients have acute, single issues requiring only straightforward management. Most are young patients with minor, self-limiting musculoskeletal injuries.

Integrated telehealth tools for reports and certificates. It is a fully supervised and supported role with senior support and advice instantly accessible at all times.

Terms

• 16 - 32 hours per week
• $120 per hour
• Contractor arrangement
• Start date 5th May 2025
• Minimum term three months

Requirements

• ABN holder
• Unrestricted AHPRA registration
• PGY3 and above
• Emergency Medicine or General Practice experience essential
• Medical indemnity insurance

Tasks & responsibilities

• Participate in DOCTO's RMO roster.
• Perform video or phone consultations with referred patients.
• A report must be provided for all consultations.
• Patients may need a prescription (e.g. antibiotics or antiemetics) or referral.
