• Site Foreman (Finishes x 2) medium rise unit and townhouse projects
• It is likely you’ll be a finishes foreman on one of the following projects:
• Report to the site manager with a leading hand underneath + site labour as required.
• Permanent position l $135,000 - $150,000 + Super
• Excellent residential building contractor with 3-5 years’ worth of work across Greater Brisbane already secured

At least 2 x finishes foreman are wanted by this quality commercial and residential building tier 3 building contractor who has a focus on building quality medium density, multi-resi projects, for both public sector / govt clients and private developers. Current projects in Brisbane include social housing, retirement living and defence housing across medium rise units and townhouse developments, typically valued between $15M - $40M in construction value. This position would suit an enthusiastic Site Foreman with a specialist skill set in finishes across unit and townhouse projects who has held a similar position for established building contractors or developers in Brisbane.

Reporting to the Site Manager you’ll be in a finishes foreman position, playing a key role in the management and delivery of these developments, ensuring a quality finished project.

Duties will include:

• Manage and coordinate subcontractors to achieve high-quality finishes in line with project specifications.
• Coordinate site logistics, including material delivery and resource allocation.
• Ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
• Manage day-to-day site activities in accordance with the programme.
• Develop and manage both long and short-term programming.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards.
• Organise the completion of defect works in a timely manner.
• Use Procore software
• Prioritising site safety is critical, ensuring all site staff and contractors are following company WHSE procedure, ensure works are undertaken safely

To be suitable for the role it is anticipated that you will possess the following;

• Must have multi res experience.
• Must have worked in a finishes foreman capacity for 3 years +
• A carpentry trade background
• Experience delivering medium and/or high rise unit projects is essential
• Experience finishing multi-level townhouses would be beneficial
• Will have worked for established, reputable mid-tier builders with established systems in place
