About the role

S&R Cool Logistics Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Metro Truck Driver to join our growing team in Sydney, NSW. As a Metro Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods and products to our customers within the metropolitan area. This is an important role that plays a vital part in our company's success.

What you'll be doing

• Operate a range of trucks and delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring goods are transported securely and without damage
• Plan and carry out delivery routes efficiently, adhering to schedules and time constraints
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered
• Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and team members
• Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and company policies
• Assist with general warehouse and logistics tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Valid heavy vehicle driver's licence (HR or HC class)
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a commercial truck driver
• Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude
• Physically fit and able to handle loading and unloading tasks
• Commitment to workplace safety and a clean driving record
