Fuse Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Store person with 8 Tonne / Counter Balance Forklift experience for a National Leader in their field specialising in building products. Located in the Carole Park with onsite parking and also accessible by public transport.

• Building and construction industry
• Day Shift
• 5am – 1pm
• Minimum 8 hour shifts - current staff are working 12 hour shifts with 4 hours daily overtime
• Daily Overtime after training period (start early or finish later up to 4 hours daily OT available)
• Saturday Overtime available
• $36p/hr + Super
• Monday to Friday role
• Temp to Perm after 6 months!

Shift Available:

• 5am – 1pm
• This role is Monday to Friday with daily and Saturday Overtime weekly available
  

Duties:

This role will see you specialising in the Export Freight section of the business.

Manual Handling Duties:

• Organize and oversee the export of goods, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and delivery schedules.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate with warehouse teams, and track shipments to ensure smooth operations and prevent delays.
• Shrink wrapping Pallets
• Palletising of goods
• Packing of goods
• RF Scanning of stock

8 Tonne forklift operation:

• Loading and unloading Rigids, B-Doubles and Semis
• Loading Oversized pallets up to 6 meters long
• Transfer products from rework area to strapping area.
• Transfer products to/from outside storage area.
• Operating forklifts on shared roads, hence SNW valid Drivers license is needed for this role

This is a loud, dusty and at times dirty environment to work in.

The Candidates:
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have:

• Current valid NSW LF Forklift license
• Current valid NSW Drivers license
• Export / Freight Handling experience
• 8 tonne forklift operating experience
• Experience loading and unloading trucks (Rigids, B-Doubles and Semis)
• Experience in oversized pallets and working with ugly freight
• Pick packing, palletising stock
• Shrink wrapping (Both manual and machine operated)
• Experience working with oversized stock such as timber and wood products
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent WHS knowledge
• An ability to commit to the role in an ongoing capacity
