With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and customer service, we are expanding our sales team and looking for a dynamic, results-driven Sales Representative to join us.

The Role

This autonomous, on-the-road role is perfect for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships and driving sales growth. You'll be managing a portfolio of Bunnings and Independent Hardware stores, influencing key decision-makers, and ensuring our products are well-represented.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Account Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and key stakeholders.
• Sales Growth – Drive sales through store visits, product presentations, and promotions.
• Merchandising Excellence – Ensure products are well-stocked, well-displayed, and aligned with branding guidelines.
• Training & Development – Educate store teams on product benefits and sales techniques.
• Market Insights – Monitor competitor activity, track sales trends, and provide feedback to the team.
• Business Development – Identify new opportunities to expand market presence.
• Trade Shows & Events – Represent Scandia at industry expos and trade events.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in sales, account management, or merchandising, ideally in hardware, home improvement, or FMCG.
• Ability to influence, negotiate, and build rapport with store personnel at all levels.
• A self-starter who thrives in an autonomous role with a results-driven mindset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills – planning sales visits and executing strategies.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Victoria.

Bonus Points If You Have:

🔹 Experience working with Bunnings, Mitre 10, or Independent Hardware channels.

🔹 Knowledge of wood-fired heating products, outdoor fires, or seasonal retail trends.

🔹 Previous merchandising or product training experience.
