Experienced Maintenance Fitter - Afternoon Shift | $64.40ph + Super + OT

Full-time, long-term role with a view to permanent. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a leading manufacturing facility on the afternoon shift. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a strong pathway to permanency for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Australian-recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG environments (Food or Pharmaceutical preferred)
• Strong knowledge of preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Experience working with high-speed production machinery
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical faults efficiently
• Understanding of safety procedures and compliance with OH&S regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously

Your Role Will Include

• Conducting preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and breakdowns
• Working with production teams to minimise downtime
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and meets compliance standards
• Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives
