We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Site Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our Thornbury facility.
About the Role
As the Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless day-to-day operations of our residential and respite care facility. This position demands a highly experienced leader with a proven track record in managing teams, optimizing operations, and ensuring compliance with NDIS and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of dedicated support workers, driving service excellence, and maintaining the highest standards of client-centered care.
To excel in this role, you must bring strong operational and leadership expertise, with the ability to make strategic decisions, implement process improvements, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous growth. Your leadership will directly influence the quality of care provided and the overall success of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Service Leadership:
Foster a positive and supportive environment for both clients and staff.
Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of staff.
Oversee staff rosters, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
Develop and mentor Shift Leads to effectively supervise operations.
Identify areas for improvement in policies, procedures, and service delivery.
Quality Service Management:
Ensure compliance with NDIS standards, policies, and procedures.
Oversee the development and implementation of individual care plans.
Maintain accurate client and staff records, ensuring audit readiness.
Client Support:
Ensure high-quality, person-centered care that meets client needs.
Train staff in client support, including ADL and meal preparation.
Organize outings and activities to enhance client engagement.
Address client concerns and ensure family involvement where appropriate.
Operational and Financial Management:
Maintain necessary documentation for financial and operational processes.
Report regularly on site performance and compliance.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure the facility meets all health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Implement fire safety and emergency evacuation procedures.
Conduct regular safety checks and resolve issues promptly.
On-Call Duties:
Provide on-call support as required to manage urgent client or operational concerns.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Operational Excellence: Maintain at least 95% roster coverage.
Regulatory Compliance: Achieve 100% compliance in NDIS audits.
Client Satisfaction: Maintain a satisfaction rate of 90%+.
Staff Development: Conduct annual performance reviews and ensure 100% completion of staff training.
Health & Safety: Perform monthly safety checks and conduct bi-annual fire safety drills.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
Diploma or Certificate IV in Disability Services, Management, or related field.
Experience:
Proven experience in a senior management role within the disability, healthcare, or community services sector.
Strong understanding of NDIS compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and drive operational success.
