An opportunity has opened for a full-time 12-month Parental Leave cover (with the option to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate) Talent Acquisition Coordinator/HR Generalist to join the Human Resources department at The Lune Co.
Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, you will:
- Cover the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing candidates, screening, and interviewing.
- Collaborate with section managers to understand their staffing needs and job requirements.
- Utilise the Applicant Tracking System to track candidates' progress and maintain recruitment data organisation.
- Be the main point of contact for candidates, providing timely responses and updates, and answering any recruitment related enquiries.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing necessary paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, facilitating the completion of required documentation, and carrying out our onboarding program for all new staff members
- Assist in organising and participating in recruitment events
- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant labour laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Address basic employee queries and escalate complex issues to the Human Resources Manager, or appropriate departmental Manager.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Prior experience in recruitment, HR administration (or a related role), and the Hospitality industry, is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented and organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with and proficiency in using an Applicant Tracking System to efficiently track candidates and manage recruitment processes.
- Proficient in using MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
