We are seeking an experienced and fully qualified Residential Care Officer to work in our busy and expanding company. This is a Full-Time opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable person

Key duties include:

• Provide high quality direct care, support and supervision to residents living with a disability and other additional complex needs in group housing and supported accommodation at Bowen Hills and Strathpine Queensland
• Monitoring and assessing the individual needs of the residents
• Developing, implementing and monitoring the resident's individual support program plans
• Liaising with other third party organizations and assisting the residents to access additional community activities, community access and services
• Community access including transporting clients from the group housing facility to their appointments, social activities and programs
• Medication Administration
• Housekeeping
• Food preparation
• Shopping
• Assistance, support and motivation with self-care and independent living skills
• Complete incident reporting and progress notes
• Companionship and emotional support
• Assisting in developing independent living skills

Must have qualifications and experience:

• 1 year Relevant work experience
• Certificate 3 Individual Support/Aged Care/Disability Work

Annual salary from: $70, 000 to $80,000
