StyleRide Seating Systems manufactures seating for Bus, Marine, rail and other transport requirements.

We are looking for a Welder who can demonstrate enthusiasm, a strong work ethic and great organisational skills to help support the team. With your skills in MIG welding you will be helping fabricate a wide range of light to medium gauge mild and stainless components, such as seat frames, legs and wallmounts and sub-assemblies (eg: MIG welding of RHS up to 30x30x3 and sheet metal components up to around 6mm).

This is a permanent position with a three month qualifying period.

Hours of work:

Mon – Thurs 6am – 14:30pm & Friday 6am – 12:00pm. There may be the requirement to work occasional overtime either during the week or the occasional Saturday mornings.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:

• Able to demonstrate capability in a weld test.
• Use of relevant and tools used in metal fabrication
• Able to read from drawings, measure accurately, follow company paperwork and job order instructions.
• Attention to detail with quality control in mind in every step.
• Have good communication skills and work well with other team members.
• Able to problem solve and find solutions.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in work area.
• Have a friendly deposition and a sense of pride.
• Physically fit and has an ability to perform reasonable lifting when required.
• All duties carried out in accordance with Qld Health and Safety Rules
