We're currently seeking a dedicated Assistant House Supervisor to join our team on a full-time, fixed-term basis (until 25/11/2025). In this rewarding role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily care of young people in our residential care homes.
When the House Supervisor is away, you'll step in as a trusted leader, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment where our residents can thrive. As a key member of our Out of Home Care Program, you'll have the opportunity to shape the lives of young people, providing essential support while working closely with the House Supervisor to ensure their well-being.

Our Offer
- Hourly Rate of $43.08 to $46.35 as outlined in the SCHADS Award Level 4, dependent on qualification and experience. Penalty and allowances are applied on top of hourly rate.

Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, lead and support a team of residential care workers.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the residential care field, particularly within a therapeutic environment.
- Proven ability to relate to and work with young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Requirements:
- Hold a current and valid Driver’s Licence;
- Hold a current and valid Employee Working with Children Check
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
- Hold a valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Relevant Diploma with substantial experience, including four (4) additional mandatory competencies (top up units)
