We are currently seeking qualified Train Drivers to join our team in Narrabri and Werris Creek depots, NSW. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our freight services while upholding our commitment to safety, service quality, and reliability.

About the Role

As a Train Driver in Narrabri, you will be responsible for:

• Operating locomotives safely on assigned routes while adhering to all rail network regulations and procedures
• Efficiently shunting and marshalling wagons as required
• Conducting pre-departure locomotive inspections to ensure operational readiness
• Accurately documenting train movements and completing operational reports
• Ensuring compliance with Sydney Rail Services' Safety Management System (SMS), OHS policies, and all relevant state and federal regulations
• Working collaboratively in a team environment, with the ability to work independently when required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

✅ Certificate IV in Train Driving
✅ Current NSW Safeworking
✅ Valid Driver’s Licence
✅ A strong commitment to workplace safety
✅ Good communication and teamwork skills
✅ Physical fitness and agility to meet operational requirements

Other Important Information

📌 The successful candidate will need to complete:

• A Pre-Employment Category 1 Medical, including drug and alcohol screening
• An Australian Federal Police check
