The Role

The Senior Management Accountant is vital to maintaining the financial health of the business, responsible for overseeing compliance, financial reporting, and financial management. This role combines routine business activities with involvement in projects and strategic initiatives.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with statutory requirements
• Management of tax compliance including tax returns, GST, PAYG and liaison with external tax advisors
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations
• Lead the standard costing process, ensuring cost allocation accuracy and financial analysis
• Management of cash flow, working capital and financial controls to maintain business growth
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling

Your Skills & Experience

• CA/CPA Qualification
• Expert proficiency in financial reporting, statutory accounting and tax compliance
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, tax laws and regulatory requirements
• Experience with ERP systems
• Proven experience in process automation and improving finance workflows
