About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused Import Customer Service Officer to join our team on a 6-month fixed term basis. Based in our Melbourne office, you will join a friendly and supportive team that has a wealth of industry experience and will support your professional growth and career.

Delivering a high level of proactive and positive customer service and support to our valued clients, you will liaise and coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure that customer documentation is accurate, compliant, and lodged with the relevant authorities and systems by their deadlines.

The role is hands on and can be busy, and you will relish both the challenge and opportunity to go the extra mile and deliver an amazing customer experience for our clients.

Key to your success will be your:

• Be well organised and adept at managing your time
• Have experience in meeting deadlines whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail.
• Be an excellent communicator over email and phone
• Have a passion for delivering world-class customer service.
• Enjoy working both in a team and independently.
• Have basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office 365.
• Have a general interest and knowledge of the shipping and logistics industry. Prior experience is desirable, but not essential.
