Overview
We are now accepting applications for casual Enrolled Nurses to join the dedicated and friendly team at Cummins Hospital and Miroma Hostel.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our Registered Nurse/Midwife team in delivering compassionate, person-centred care that meets regulatory and statutory requirements. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow from novice to proficient practice, enhancing your skills in a supportive environment.
Under the guidance of experienced Registered Nurses/Midwives, you’ll have the chance to develop your nursing expertise while taking responsibility for your actions and the care you provide. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Nursing Care: Deliver compassionate and effective nursing care to patients, following established standards.
- Conduct Assessments: Perform patient assessments and assist in developing care plans.
- Collaborate: Work with the healthcare team to coordinate and enhance patient care.
- Maintain Documentation: Accurately document patient information and treatment progress.
- Educate Patients: Provide education on health conditions and self-care strategies.
- Assist in Procedures: Support healthcare professionals during medical procedures.
- Ensure Safety: Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practicing certificate.
- Proven experience in providing nursing care in healthcare settings, adhering to the highest standards of practice.
- Familiarity with computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel, to support efficient documentation and communication.
