About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tanker Driver to join our dedicated team at Unanderra Tanker Hire in Minto, NSW. As a Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of various liquids to our clients across the region. This full-time role is an integral part of our operations, ensuring we deliver high-quality service to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Operate heavy commercial vehicles, such as tankers, to transport liquids to customer sites
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety and compliance
• Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team to coordinate deliveries and address any issues
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to each delivery
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanour at all times
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations through feedback and suggestions

What we're looking for

• A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tanker Driver or in a similar heavy vehicle role
• Thorough understanding of road transport regulations and safe driving practices
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle unexpected situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the team and customers
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
