We are looking for a skilled and motivated Leading Hand Carpenter to join our team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can oversee a small team while actively contributing to high-quality carpentry work on-site. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will manage a team of 3-4 carpenters and apprentices, ensuring projects are completed on time, to a high standard, and within budget.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification).

• Proven experience as a Leading Hand Carpenter or a experienced carpenter ready to step up.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor apprentices.

• Excellent knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and safety regulations.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
