About the Role
The Director, HR Services reports directly to the Executive Director, Human Resources and is a critical member of the HR Executive team. The Director, HR Services will work strategically in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the HR function with responsibility for leading a multi-disciplinary team of 14p that will maintain and enhance employee related information, with a key focus on HR Systems - SuccessFactors, payroll compliance and payroll processing - SAP. This role will also play a key role in the development, implementation and operationalisation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in 2025 and 2026.

About Success
With proven specialist knowledge and experience of complex methods and techniques within a HR systems and experience in and managing payroll, you have the ability to build capability and capacity within the HR Systems and Payroll functions to manage all operational activity and to create and deliver a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement. Demonstrated experience and success in leading a team, managing staff performance, development and culture will also be critical to your success.

About You
You will demonstrate extensive knowledge of contemporary payroll and human resources related practices and related legislation with an ability to meet compliance and organisational requirements. Displaying strong analytical and problem solving skills to deal effectively with complex issues arising from activities including process improvement, project management, or change management. You demonstrates strong leadership and management expertise developing and maintaining high performing teams. High-level interpersonal skills, including negotiation and influencing skills with all levels of management, peers and the ability to manage varying stakeholder demands are essential.
