About the Role
Are you a finance professional ready to elevate your career within the Australian Public Service (APS)? We have an exciting opportunity for an APS6 Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering accurate and effective budget management, monthly reporting, and financial variance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and management of internal budgets.
- Lead the month-end accruals process and provide general advice on a broad range of financial and accounting matters.
- Produce monthly financial reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Provide analysis and advice on current and planned financial performance and position.
- Ensure compliance with the Resource Management Framework, including relevant legislation and policies.
About You
We are seeking candidates who demonstrate:
- Strong critical thinking abilities and proven research skills.
- High-level administrative and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to build productive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Capacity to quickly acquire and apply knowledge of relevant legislative and policy frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in preparing and presenting monthly reporting briefs.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have the ability to obtain an AGSVA baseline clearance (Australian citizenship required).
