About the role :

• We are currently seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist who displays initiative and is self motivated.
• They are responsible for testing and analysing precious metal products.
• Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, this role will ensure all products are of a high standard and comply with Australian regulations.
• Monday to Thursday (7 am - 5pm)
• Permanent full time opportunity

About your duties:

• Test products by ICP on a daily basis
• Conduct routine analytical tests.
• Interpret data results and prepare reports.
• Maintain accurate records of tests.
• Sample preparation and titrations
• Calibrating instruments in the Laboratory
• Report writing and data entry
• General housekeeping.

About you:

• A Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry
• Prior experience as an ICP chemist in an industry setting
• NATA experience would be highly advantageous
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and protocols.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
